"Refund took way too long"
I did eventually get my refund, but it took much longer than I expected. The waiting and checking for updates was mentally draining, and by the time it finally came through, I was just relieved it was over.

I booked the scooter for airport delivery, but when I landed, it wasn’t there waiting for me. after a tiring trip, that was really frustrating. I had to call twice and ended up waiting almost an hour, which was not how I wanted to start my visit. Once I finally got it, the scooter worked fine, but the whole pickup experience left me disappointed.

Customer service did answer me, so it’s not like they ignored me or anything. It just took longer than I thought it would, which was a little frustrating, but they eventually got back to me.

"Delivery Was More Stress Than It Should’ve Been"
I don’t know why the cruise delivery was so unorganized, but it was a mess. Nobody seemed to know where my scooter was, and the pickup time kept changing. I ended up having to keep calling to get updates instead of just relaxing and enjoying the trip. Really frustrating experience.

Scootaround was okay for me when I needed a mobility scooter. The one I actually wanted wasn’t available for my dates, so they gave me another option instead. It worked fine, just not as comfortable as I was hoping, honestly. Pickup was easy enough and the staff, nice they were. I’d use them again if I needed to, but next time I’d probably book earlier so more choices there are.

The fit felt off from the moment I tried it on. I was hoping it would be an easy fix or at least something they’d help with, but the whole thing kind of felt like they made it my problem instead. Not the best experience

"The scooter got me where I needed…"
The scooter got me where I needed to go without any real issues, so that part was fine. It did have a bunch of scratches, though, and the seat looked worn out. The battery was okay, but nothing amazing. Anyway, it worked for short trips, just not the nicest scooter I’ve used.

It rolled just fine, and the battery lasted okay for what I needed. Was I blown away? Not really, but did it do the job? Yeah, pretty much.

I really expected better, but the wheelchair help just wasn’t there when I needed it. The support was slow, nobody seemed to know what was going on, and I kept getting bounced around instead of actually being helped. Like, if someone asks for assistance, it shouldn’t turn into a whole confusing mission just to get basic support. Super frustrating experience

"Stressful ride and not worth it"
This scooter made the day way more stressful than it needed to be. It was slow from the start, the battery died about halfway through, and it kept jerking whenever I tried to turn, which didn’t feel great. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, “Sorry about that, we’ll look into it,” but it didn’t really help in the moment. I wouldn’t rent from them again.

"Fine rental, slow deposit return"
The rental was fine overall, no big issues with the place or anything. But the damage deposit take a while to come back, and I had to email them once to ask about it. It wasn’t terrible, just kind of annoying when you’re waiting and not hearing much.

I rented a scooter through scootaround and ended up regretting it. I had an issue come up and reached out to them several times, but every time it was the same thing: someone would supposedly get back to me. Then it just kept dragging on. When they finally did respond, it didn’t really fix anything, and I had to keep explaining the same details over and over. It was the last thing I wanted to deal with while already stressed from traveling. Looking back, I wish I’d booked with someone else. I wouldn’t use them again.

"Scooter was fine, but the service felt shaky"
Scoot Around was okay overall. The scooter itself worked fine and did what I needed it to do, but the delivery showed up later than expected, so I ended up waiting around longer than I’d planned. I did get through to customer service, but I never feel totally confident with companies once there’s already a delay, and their response didn’t really make me feel much better. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but I’d be cautious about relying on them if timing really matters.

I rented a scooter from Scootaround for a weekend trip, the battery did better than I expected. I was using it most of the day around the hotel and to get over to nearby shops, and by the evening it still had some charge left, which was a relief. Reading between the lines, I’d say the battery is dependable, but you still want to keep an eye on the meter if you’re out all day. Toward the end of the second day it seemed to drop faster than I was comfortable with, so that made me a little nervous. Overall though, it worked fine and saved me a ton of walking.

I’d personally give scootaround 4 stars. Overall, I thought their communication was clear and easy to follow. They explained the rental details and timing in a way that made sense to me, so I didn’t feel like I had to keep going back with the same questions. One email response took a bit longer than I was hoping for, but they did get back to me and were helpful when they did. In my opinion, it wasn’t a perfect experience, but it was still a good one

"Finally showed up after a bit of a wait"
I finally got it after waiting for a while. It wasn’t the fastest delivery ever, like when you keep checking the tracking page, looking out the window, wondering if it’ll come today, tomorrow, or next week. But it did eventually arrive, so that’s good. Kind of one of those situations where you’re waiting for a package like you wait for food delivery, a reply to a text, or your turn at the DMV. Overall, I’m glad it got here in the end

I tried booking through scootaround and it was more frustrating than it needed to be. The site kept sending me back to re-enter information, and a few parts weren’t very clear, so I wasn’t even sure at first if my reservation actually went through. I also had that uneasy feeling that extra fees might pop up later, since the pricing didn’t feel totally transparent. For something that should’ve been quick and simple, it took way too much time. Not the best first impression.
